With The Virgo, the Michel Bisceglia Trio celebrates three decades of music, friendship and musical exploration.

Pianist and composer Michel Bisceglia, bassist Werner Lauscher and drummer Marc Lehan have developed a musical language built on trust, space and interaction. After thirty years together, that connection has become almost instinctive — three musicians listening, responding and shaping the music as one.

The Virgo is not conceived as a retrospective. It is an album about where the trio stands today: lyrical and cinematic, intimate yet expansive, rooted in jazz but never confined by it. Original compositions unfold naturally, leaving room for melody, silence, improvisation and the unmistakable chemistry that can only grow through years of playing together.

Thirty years after the trio began its journey, The Virgo marks a new chapter rather than a conclusion.
