On April 30, 2026, the Michel Bisceglia Trio will present the official premiere of its 30th Anniversary & Album Release Tour at MUZE.
The concert marks both the trio’s 30-year existence in an unchanged line-up and the release of the new album “The Virgo”—an exceptional milestone within the Belgian jazz scene.
For three decades, Michel Bisceglia, Werner Lauscher [double bass], and Marc Léhan [drums] have built a close-knit musical identity, sustained by mutual trust, refined interplay, and a shared artistic vision. Such continuity—three musicians continuing to create together for thirty years—is extremely rare and underscores the trio’s unique place within Belgian jazz.
Michel Bisceglia’s music is often described as poetic and cinematic: a subtle fusion of jazz, classical music, and contemporary sound worlds. On “The Virgo,” this signature emerges with clarity and maturity—new work that leaves room for silence and tension, lyricism and depth, and in which the trio’s long shared history is audibly present.
During this premiere concert, the Michel Bisceglia Trio will perform the new album live, complemented by carefully selected compositions from thirty years of creation. An evening that celebrates not only an anniversary, but above all the power of listening, interplay, and musical timelessness.
