New ALBUM “SILENCE LOUD”
The Michel Bisceglia Trio, with Werner Lauscher on bass and Marc Lehan on drums, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year with the release of their long-awaited new album SILENCE LOUD.
With respect for traditional jazz, they create cinematic passages with plenty of room for polyphonic melodies and contrasting harmonies. No note too much and impeccable timing take you as a listener to higher musical spheres. Michel Bisceglia decided to write down some string arrangements at the last minute during the production. The outstanding contribution of The Hongarian Studio Orchestra makes this new album a unique gem.
The fact that Bisceglia's compositions are cinematic and contain a great emotional expressiveness has not escaped Hollywood either. For example, he recently had the opportunity to compose the music for the British-Canadian animated film 'Charlotte', starring Keira Knightley. For this, Michel Bisceglia was recently nominated again for a World Soundtrack Award. Earlier he was also allowed to festively open the C-mine exhibition about Tim Burton musically in the presence of the director himself.
